MOTU Origins Fang-Or In-Hand Pics, Plus Masterverse Vykron Too! – The Toyark

Taking a quick look at two more recent Masters of the Universe figures, one for Origins and one for Masterverse, courtesy of a care package from Mattel.  Both were teased earlier in the year, and both are MattelCreations exclusives.  Vykron went up for order in June (order page live now) and is ،pping already, while Origins Fang-Or goes live on 8/8/23 at Noon Eastern.  Read on for some official copy and then take a look at our in hand pics for both Fang-Or and Vykron after that!

Masters of the Universe Origins Fang-Or (HPL11)

The Snake Men theme of 2023 continues with the Masters of the Universe Origins Fang-Or Action Figure. First introduced in the mini-comic and designed by Axel Gimenez, Fang-Or served as an engineer for the serpentine villains. This figure has never been done before in the MOTU Origins line. 5.5” Figure comes with 16 points of articulation and additional accessories – a curved blade, wrench, and 2 sets of interchangeable fangs. Figure includes mini-comic that tells his origin story packed in collector friendly sliding blister packaging.

[Roy Juarez] Both Lady Slither and Fang-Or are original designs created by Axel Gimenez during the Cl،ics era. Ever since they were first revealed, they have been two of the most requested characters, so for us to make them into Origins figures feels epic! As a fan, it is a “checkbox” moment for me that I get to bring these two characters to life through directing the artwork and designing their packaging. When it’s revealed, you will see a direct connection to Preternia. We’ll focus on a lush swamp background, and in the middle of it you’ll be able to see Lady Slither’s Snake Lair.

Fang-Or will come inside our collector-friendly packaging. The blister bubble is easily removable it can slide off and on, and he will also come with an exclusive mini comic. The artwork teases ،ential upcoming figure reveals and a very cool easter-egg I had to include in the cardback artwork. Fans will notice that the Snake Lair is surrounded by a moat and a creature. The moat pays ،mage to The Castle Moat playmat that Mark Taylor originally envisioned, and the sea creature is one of the creatures il،rated in The Castle Moat.
